Hike through the most beautiful surroundings
A great recommendation is the 46-kilometre Bigge-Lister Trail, which takes you along Lake Biggesee and Lake Listersee. The route is designed as a two-day hike, but can also be completed in shorter stages. The Veischeder Sonnenpfad and the Sauerland-Höhenflug, which starts at the ski jump in Meinerzhagen, are also among the best-known long-distance hiking trails in the region.

In addition to the long-distance trails, there are themed routes that take you past former mining areas, works of art and special natural landscapes. The 7-kilometre KultTour in Drolshagen, for example, leads past various art and nature sites.
